If you find the dead foliage depressing, bringing some life into your home may help perk you up this winter. Visit a nursery and buy some vibrant plants or beautiful flowers and place them throughout your home. Certain plants even help purify air and remove toxins from your home.
Cook some popcorn and binge watch a series (or two). You have so many choices now between Netflix and Amazon Prime. Some of my personal favorites on Netflix -Original dramas, Ozark, dark drama, not for the light hearted but great acting, Sneaky Pete, Narcos, Orange is the New Black, first couple seasons, same goes for House Of Cards. You can also find Dramas like Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead. Original comedies, I like Master Of None, The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, BoJack Horseman.
Wake up, pray, listen to something funny and listen to a song that makes you want to sing out loud. Music will always pick your spirits up, rain, fog or snow. Doing all three of these first thing will get you off on the right foot. Throw in some exercise and look out world! I won’t write one of my prayers here but here’s a couple of comedy skits and songs I like starting my day with-
